Privacy notice
What we do with the details you send us, who else sees them, and how to ask us for a copy or have them deleted.
This notice describes what actually happens to your details. It is written to be checked, not to cover us: everything named below is something the site or the academy genuinely uses.
Who we are

What we collect
What you send us. The enquiry form asks for a name, an email address, and optionally a WhatsApp number, your country and city, the learner's class or year group, the curriculum or examination, a preferred lesson format and times, and a description of what you would like help with. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email instead, we hold that conversation.
What we do not ask for. We do not ask for a child's date of birth, school identification number, school records, or any health or financial detail, and you should not send them in an enquiry.
Server records. Our host keeps standard web server records, which include the IP address a page was requested from. We do not use analytics, advertising tags, or tracking pixels on this site, and the site itself sets no cookies.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To reply to your enquiry, arrange an assessment, and organise lessons. That is the whole of it. We hold it because you asked us to contact you, and you can withdraw that at any time by telling us. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Sending an enquiry means it passes through services we do not own. These are the ones involved:
- FormSubmit
- Takes what you type into the enquiry form and delivers it to our inbox as an email.
- Our inbox is Gmail, so every enquiry sits there. The map on the contact page is loaded from Google Maps: opening that page means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's terms rather than ours.
- Cloudflare
- Serves this website, and keeps the server records described above.
- Only if you choose to message us there. WhatsApp is owned by Meta and the conversation is held under their terms.
- Zoom and Google Classroom
- Used for lessons once a learner has enrolled, for the live class and for worksheets and assignments.
Lesson recordings
Whether a class is recorded, who can see a recording and how long it is kept are settled before lessons begin, not afterwards. Ask us for the arrangements that apply to the class you are considering.
How long we keep it
An enquiry stays in our inbox while we are in contact with you, and for a period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you would rather it went sooner, tell us and we will delete it.
What you can ask for
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email padesssmartmathacademy@gmail.com and we will do it. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, the United States or Australia, you have rights under your own country's data protection law, and we will honour a request made under them.
If a learner is a child, an adult with responsibility for them should be the one who makes contact and who asks for any of the above.
Changes
If what we do with your details changes, this page changes with it. Last updated 5 September 2026.
