Exam preparation

WAEC and NECO maths tutoring in Uyo and online

Focused lessons on General Mathematics that build the understanding first, then give you the time to practise applying it. At our Uyo centre, or online.

Begin with the topics that need attention

Tell us your class, your examination plans, and the areas you find difficult. The assessment is what finds a useful starting point and lets us talk about a revision focus that is realistic.

If your examination is close, say the date when you enquire. We will tell you what can reasonably be covered in the lessons that fit between now and then, rather than promise the whole syllabus.

What the lessons work on

Understand the method

Go back over the idea and work through examples with a tutor, until the method is something you can explain rather than something you copied.

Show your working

Practise writing steps clearly, so your reasoning is visible to whoever is marking it.

Apply what you learn

Attempt questions of the kind the paper asks, and talk through how to approach them before you start writing.

Review the mistakes

Use the feedback to decide what needs more practice before moving on to the next thing.

Questions about exam support

Can I join if my foundations are weak?

Yes. We use the assessment to work out which earlier ideas need attention alongside the revision, because a shaky JSS topic is usually what makes an SS question hard.

Do you guarantee a particular grade?

No. A result depends on where you are starting from, how much time is left and how much you practise. What we can offer is teaching, feedback and a study plan you can follow.

Can I attend online?

Yes. Contact us to talk about a tutor, a format and a timetable that work.
